A welcoming but deceptive opener. The wide landing area invites an aggressive drive, but two fairway bunkers lurk mid-left. The creek runs along the right side and crosses before the green — your approach must carry it cleanly. The green sits elevated and separated, rewarding precision over power.
Aim tee shot between the fairway bunkers, the fairway favors a slight fade. This will give you a good mid-iron for your approach.

Favor the left edge of the fairway on your tee shot with a slight fade. The fairway will reward you will a good bounce leaving you in the middle of the fairway. Avoid hitting a draw as the lake on the right is within driving distance.

The course's first par 3 demands an aerial tee shot — trees and native grass loom in front of the tee box. A sand bunker sits front-left of the green. At golden hour, the shadows stretch long across one of the most photogenic holes on the course.
Take one extra club & aim at the middle of the green. Any miss left or right will give you a 20 foot putt or a fairly easy chip.

A long, straight par 5 that rewards big hitters with an eagle opportunity — wayward shots will get you in the double-bogey zone.
Driver down the center of fairway. KEY to this hole is the 2nd shot: Hit to 100 yard marker - hit third shot to middle of green - putt for birdie! say bye-bye to double-bogeys!!!

A slight uphill climb to the green rewards you with one of the greatest views on the golf course. A straight-forward par 4 with a bunker guarding the right side of the green — precision wins here.
The uphill approach plays 1/2 club longer than the yardage suggests. Favor the left side of green on your approach as a straight shot will bounce onto the green giving you a birdie opportunity.

One of the more demanding par 4s on the course, lined with well-placed fairway bunkers that punish offline drives. Afternoon winds and dramatic New Mexico skies make this hole play differently every round.
The player who can hit a slight draw has the advantage on this hole - hitting towards the right bunker with a draw will give you a short iron in. Shorter hitters will have a mid-long iron into the green, forcing them to take a 1/2 extra club into this slightly elevated green.

The #1 handicap hole and undisputed signature hole. This par 5 bends right, then left, with the green tucked behind two large hills completely out of sight. A true New Mexico masterpiece.
Don't be greedy — lay up on your second to 125 yards. The green is to the RIGHT of the large tree slightly downhill, take 1/2 club less on your approach & you will be putting for birdie!

Considered one of the hardest par 3s in the state. The large green is protected by a long bunker along the back left, and a devious hidden pot bunker to the right. A fitting and unforgettable closer.
From the tips, this is a monster at 238 yards. The hidden pot bunker right is nearly invisible. Hitting your tee shot left-center of the green will give you a birdie opportunity.
